The club was formed in 1974 to provide opportunities for keen walkers in the Selby area to enjoy the countryside as part of group of like-minded members.  We go out on the second Sunday of each month, using coach transport so that access is open to all.  The areas visited include the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and the Peak District.

In addition to the monthly walks, the club organises weekends away to areas further afield such as the Lake District.

If you are interested in joining our club, please send us a message via the contact page indicating the walk you would like to join and we will get back to you with some further information. There is no obligation to join the club straight away. Just come and decide after your first walk with us if you would like to become a member. For more details about our club, walks and how to join, please visit the FAQ section.
