Lovely autumn sunshine greeted us in Malton for our walks. We were able to offer 3 walks of different lenght and paces. The long walk was 12 miles and went along the lower edge of the Howardian Hills and through the villages of Broughton, Swinton, Amotherby and Appleton-le street. The medium walk was 9 miles and followed a similar but shorter route than the long walk. The steady walk of 6 miles started at Appleton le Street and headed towards Easthorpe Hall into the woods and towards Hildenly Home Farm. It followed on to Malton via open fields.
