After all this heavy rain and storms of the previous weeks and months, the February walk was a bit of a mud challenge, although we were lucky that the rain kept mostly off on the day. The long walk was 11 miles and went past the Kilnwick Percy Golf Club towards Millington and then to Great Givendale where we joined the Chalklands Way through Brimlands and Grimthorpe Wood back towards Pocklington. The medium walk was an easy and flat walk of 8.3 miles that took in the Pocklington Canal and the steady walk of 5 miles headed towards Allerthorpe.
