This time we did not stay in Yorkshire and ventured into the Lincolnshire Wolds for our three linear walks finishing in Caistor. The 12 mile long walk started at Ludford and passed through the villages of Tealby, Walesby and Normanby with the medium 9 mile walk starting at Tealby and the short 7 mile walk at Normanby, all taking the same route along the Viking Way into Caistor. At the beginning of our walks it was quite misty but it made for some scenic views. However the mist lifted soon making way for some pleasant sunshine.
