The weather was forecast to be sunny all day. What a glorious day for our walks at the Yorkshire Coast! All walks started in the village of Flamborough. The long walk started off to Dane's Dyke and then went along the coastal path towards South Landing where we were greeting warmly by some lovely ladies selling cakes, tea and coffee to raise funds for the RNLI. The cakes were delicious and provided us with enough energy to continue our path towards Flamborough Head where we were able to see a lot of seals on the beaches from the cliff tops. Our walk then continued along the coast towards North Landing and Thornwick Bay where we later returned inland back towards Flamborough village. The medium walk was 7.5 miles and the steady walk 5 miles. They took slightly different routes, but all took in the same highlights of Thornwick Bay, North Landing and Flamborough Head (including South Landing for the medium walkers).
