Due to COVID-19 the club were unable to have a Xmas Lunch in December 2020, so a local walk in Selby took place. The Coachman Inn at Snainton was original booked, but due to the restrictions at the time everything was cancelled.
So finally on the 12th December 2021, 35 members from the SFWC took part on it’s annual Xmas Walk, which was a 5 mile easy going circular, heading north out of Snainton, the weather was dry but muddy underfoot. The members then went to the Coachman Inn for a traditional Christmas Lunch, which raised £87.40 for charity to be decided at the January 2022 AGM.
Many Thanks to Emma and her staff for the great meal and service, which was provided by the Coachman Inn.
The AGM is schedule for 13th January 2022, meeting at the Drax Social Club for 6.30pm, where Pie, Peas & Chips are available free to SFWC members, followed by the AGM starting around 7.30pm.
