Fog and Remembrance

The day promised to be sunny and we left Selby on a bright morning. Arriving in Pocklington, however, we were greeted by dense fog which unfortunately stayed with us all day. This however did not dampen our spirits and it was great to be out and about again. The long walkers did 10 miles taking in Givendale, Millington and Kilnwick Percy Hall. The medium walkers took a shorter route of 7.8 miles heading towards Millington, but going down Martin Lane and heading towards the Wolds Retreat and back to Pocklington via the golf course. Both groups observed two minutes silence at 11 am to mark Remembrance Day.
